- nec fs2910mh tripping strs6709 & caps in psu + unmarked zener (used 7v5) lines are visible at the top 34" of the screen. it seems that the top 1.5" of the screen is folded over on itself. that problem was resolved by replacing the tantalum caps in the vertical section.
- nec ct2030a tv has set for a few days it comes up with a normal picture. after about 5 hours the picture becomes taller and the beam hits the top of the picture tube and reflexes back down on to the top of the picture and when it gets real hot, the unit will squeal and picture will lose lock until the tv is cut off and then back on after it cools a little. if only picture height is affected, expect bad component (cap) in vertical section. if both height and width are increasing, suspect supplies voltage changing. measuring supply voltage to the flyback (+b) and using freeze spray on some caps on failure should give you a hint on where to look.
- nec ct2062s it has a colored line across the middle of the screen. i replaced the vert deff ic and its stillthe same. there is another chip close to the vert ic i cannot cross, nec d6144c. also, when i press different buttons on the remote the line changes colors and size. change c411, tr402 (if bad), and ic401.
- nec ct2505a tv with a vertical problem, retrace
- nec fs2120pix no green check / replace transistor tr905 (2sc3063), used a bf549
- nec fs4620 ripple on verticals with bright scenes capacitor c609 100uf 160v
- nec fs4620 ripple on verticals with bright scenes check / replace c609 (100uf,160v
- nec integra flashing in red (temperature error detected) ic9806 or ic9501 and its peripheral circuits are out of order.
- nec integra reciprocally flashing in green and red (cracks in the panel detected) replace ic9505
- nec pj4600en tv the picture does not come in clear, goes in and out. the sound also goes in and out. if i remove the video jack from the fin2 block on the board labeled h07 4 57 the picture stabilizes but is not quite right. the higher the channel number the worse the reception. also there is a strip of yellow across part of the top of the picture. loss of proper bias to tuner, video processor circuits. failure of multiple electrolytics in supplies. poor solder connections on the signal
- nec pxt42s11s 42" plasma, hooked it all up and then turned it on. all i got was a white screen sounds like the lvds cable from the mainboard to the panel has become disconected might have been vibration during transport.
